NEW SALES AND MARKETING EXECUTIVES ADD DEPTH LEADING UP TO COMPANY LAUNCH
SecondSpace, a new online services company developing a network of highly immersive, lifestyle-oriented web sites, today announced two new appointments to its growing team of internet veterans. Terron Lindholme, alumnus of three successful technology startups, will serve as the company's director of sales. Alexander Barnett, former director of Microsoft's Windows Vista Product Marketing, will serve as SecondSpace's director of corporate marketing.
SecondSpace is developing a unique online services platform to connect baby boomers and other consumers with a broad range of merchange and service providers. The company now employs 32 professionals and plans to unveil its services in the near future.

In joining SecondSpace, Terron Lindholme enters his fourth career startup company. His previous successes include serving as founder of MagicSoft Inc., where Terron invented spellchecking and clipboard software solutions which are currently used in Microsoft Office. He also co-founded Einstein Systems Inc. for which he designed several acclaimed national web sites, and co-founded CognitiveDATA Inc., a highly successful direct marketing/data base software company, where he served as EVP of sales. Terron holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and also studied psychology at Clark College in Dubuque, Iowa.
Alexander Barnett comes to SecondSpace from Microsoft where he was responsible for delivering global sales and marketing campaigns for Windows Vista business products, which contribute nearly $2 billion in annual revenue. During his five years at Microsoft, Alexander led marketing teams that drove consistent revenue growth in the consumer, enterprise, and mid-sized business segments and launched six different Windows products including: Windows Vista Enterprise, the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack, and several releases of Windows XP Media Center Edition. Prior to Microsoft, Alexander worked as a marketing and branding consultant where his clients included Nissan Motor Company and other leading consumer-oriented firms. His previous experience also includes various field and headquarter-based marketing and management roles with Recreational Equipment, Incorporate (REI). He holds a Master's in Business Administration with distinction from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
